Go Canes! Watching Miami handle USF. Decided to skip the Tebow lovefest on CBS.
Watching Saturday morning cartoons with my girls. This always reminds me of my childhood and watching cartoons with my brothers.
Had a date with Rachelle (dinner & movie, “The Blind Side”). Grammy & Granddaddy watched our girls. Grandparents FTW!
Spending #blackfriday watching recorded episodes of #mythbusters from yesterday’s marathon. Mythbusters FTW!
Happy Thanksgiving! Hope that everyone’s day has been wonderful. And full of good food.
Home at last! Four day weekend FTW.
Hance Rapids from Lipan Point:
Grand Canyon National Park, September 2009
Don’t be fooled. While Hance Rapids looks unimpressive from this vantage point on the South Rim, it is one of the Colorado River’s most treacherous rapids. It is a mile long and has a 30 foot drop in the space of a half mile.
Zion Under Rain Clouds:
Zion National Park, September 2009
On our way from Bryce to Page, Arizona, we made a brief detour to drive through Zion (from the East entrance to the visitor center and back). While we were at the visitor center, it began to rain. It was raining on me as we stopped, so I could photograph the valley before we drove back through the tunnel. The scenery at Zion was still spectacular despite the rain.
